St. Louis G.A.Y Prom and Pride Parade

St. Louis's Growing American Youth will be hosting the 500 Youth Strong March on Sunday, June 24.  Sign-ups are recommended, but not required. They will be meeting at the Carpenter Branch Library located at the corner of Grand and McDonald at 10 AM.

G. A. Y will also be hosting the Gay Prom on July 14, from 8 pm - midnight. Entry costs $10 for food, dancing, access to the City Museum, drag performances, a photo booth, and celebrity chaperones. You can sign-up and put in requests here.

Gay Conversion therapy is an attempt to change one's sexual orientation. The American Psychiatric says that the therapy assumes sexuality is a mental disorder.

"Don't say Gay" Bill Information and Petition

The "Don't Say Gay" bill bans all talk about any sexuality, whether gay or straight. In other words, 

"70.370. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, no instruction, material, or extracurricular activity sponsored by a public school that discusses sexual orientation other than in scientific instruction concerning human reproduction shall be provided in any public school."

Basically, this would ban the GSA. If you don't want this to pass, sign this petition!
